Nero

It was finally over. Nero and Dante had finished that damn statue off, and now they were safe for the time being. He let out a sigh of relief, sheathing Red Queen as he walked away from the battlefield, closing his eyes. He guessed he would have to thank Vergil later; but...to be perfectly honest, he decided to just sling another slew of insults his way later. It sounded better.

The young hunter glanced back to Dante for a moment, nodding in thanks. This was another thing that he owed him for...damn. He chuckled to himself a bit as he resumed his steady walk. This keeps up and I'll probably end up having to do jobs for him.

"...Kyrie..." He smiled slightly as he saw her ahead, not stopping until he was a few paces in front of her, hesitating for a moment. "....I..." He shook his head, closing the gap and embracing her. "I'm sorry I didn't come sooner..."

Nero

[Nero's standing otuside one of the main buildings at Fortuna, clenching and unclenching the Devil Bringer as he does so. To say that he was annoyed would be a severe understatement. He glanced up, looking to see if Dante had arrived yet...or Colette with the ship. All he knew at this point was that he had to trust what Vergil said (with a grain of salt) and that he wasn't alone at this point. For once.]

Nero
Even thought it had already been a while since Nero had talked with Vergil, the young man had found himself oddly worried about the whole thing. If this guy was really Dante's brother... He shook his head. Now wasn't the time to be thinking...no, it was, but the problem lay in the fact that he didn't know what  to think first. The whole situation was confusing. And...he didn't want anyone else getting involved. He needed to make sure that Kyrie wasn't around while this was happening, he didn't want her getting hurt. He was sure that if Vergil found out that Kyrie was with him that he'd leave her alone, but he didn't want to take that chance.

He snorted with a small chuckle. "Damn, I'm gonna kill myself from worry if this keeps up," he mumbled, a small smirk gracing his lips before he pulled out Blue Rose, twirling the revolver. This whole situation was screwed up, but that didn't matter right now, both he and Vergil wanted answers from each other, and so, answers they would get.

It was just a matter of when the hell they were going to meet up that would prove to be the ultimate question. The current wielder of Yamato stretched as he stood, still twirling Blue Rose while he walked outside, finally holstering the firearm. Fortuna was slowly beginning to rebuild...things were going to be...well, it wasn't going to be like it used to, he was going to make that much certain. But things were going to be better, he was going to make sure of that.
